Boys’ Day Summary

Applications are now open for Italia Conti Boys’ Day workshop for cis male and male identifying or presenting students considering pursuing careers in dance or musical theatre industries.

An action-packed workshop day, which will include a range of classes with core members of our full-time musical theatre and dance team. A course overview and Q&A session will be available, and all attendees will take a full tour of our fantastic building.

A great experience for those already studying performing arts and a wonderful opportunity for those new to performing arts to come along and explore what it is like to study dance and musical theatre at Italia Conti.

Musical Theatre Strand

Perfect for young men and male identifying performers who are planning to pursue three-year training in Musical Theatre ahead of professional careers as performers.

Taster workshops may include ballet, jazz, singing and acting.

Dance Strand

Perfect for young men and male identifying dancers who are planning to pursue three-year training in Dance ahead of professional careers as dancers across ballet, jazz, contemporary and commercial aligned performance industries.

Taster workshops may include ballet, jazz, contemporary, commercial and tricks.

Please note, whilst this is not an audition event, some attendees may be invited to audition for full time courses after the workshop. However, there is no obligation to audition for our courses.

FURTHER INFORMATION

AGES

Boys’ Day is available to students from 15 to 19 years old, but older students may be considered on a case by case basis.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

No audition is required for this course, as we wish to encourage participation in the arts for all. Places are offered on a first come first served basis.

ACCOMMODATION

Italia Conti regrets it does not offer boarding facilities to visiting students. Italia Conti is a ‘day’ school and students are responsible for finding their own accommodation, if required.

WELFARE

Students will be in the care of experienced house staff during class hours and student safety is of the utmost importance.
